     Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Guy Salisbury-Jones was the son of Arthur Thomas Salisbury-Jones.1 He married Hilda Violet Helena de Bunsen, daughter of Sir Maurice William Ernest de Bunsen, 1st and last Bt., on 10 November 1931.1 He died in 1985.2
     Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Guy Salisbury-Jones was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Guy Salisbury-Jones usually went by his middle name of Guy.2 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.).1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1 He lived at Mill Down, Hambledon, Hampshire, England.2

     John Maurice Armstrong Yerburgh was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Irish Guards.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Dumfries and Galloway (Stewartry Division) in 1990.1 He lived in 1999 at Barwhillanty, Parton, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland.1
