     Hon. Dorothy Lucy Hennessy was the daughter of George Richard James Hennessy, 1st Baron Windlesham and Ethel Mary Wynter.2 She married Commander William Frederick George North, son of Hon. Roger Archibald Percy North and Robina Ramsey Walker Barton, on 14 October 1924.1 She and Commander William Frederick George North were divorced in 1949.1 She died on 15 January 1961.1
     From 14 October 1924, her married name became North.

     Commander William Frederick George North was born on 15 May 1898.2 He was the son of Hon. Roger Archibald Percy North and Robina Ramsey Walker Barton.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Dorothy Lucy Hennessy, daughter of George Richard James Hennessy, 1st Baron Windlesham and Ethel Mary Wynter, on 14 October 1924.1 He and Hon. Dorothy Lucy Hennessy were divorced in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Joan Mabel Fussell, daughter of Henry Reginald Fussell, on 19 April 1949.2
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.2 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.2
