     Sir John Hieron Wheeler, 3rd Bt. was born on 22 July 1905.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Wheeler, 1st Bt. and Mary Pullman.2 He married Gwendolen Alice Oram, daughter of Alfred Ernest Oram, on 24 July 1929.1 He died in April 2005 at age 99.3
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Volunteer Trooper in the 49 RTR.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 In 1964 succeeded bro.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Wheeler, of Woodhouse Eaves, co. Leicester [U.K., 1920] on 16 December 1964.1 He was chairman and managing director Raithby Lawrence and County (De Montfort Press) before 1973.1 He lived in 2003 at 39 Morland Avenue, Stoneygate, Leicestershire, England.1
