     Her married name became Wemyss.

     Maj.-Gen. Binfield Wemyss was born on 10 March 1844.¹ He was the son of Major James Wemyss and Helen Reilly.² He married Mildred Unwin, daughter of Henry Unwin, on 25 November 1876.¹ He died on 27 February 1904 at age 59.¹

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Dorset Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and Admin Officer in the Royal Signals (TA.)¹
