     Ernest Walker was born on 11 June 1887.1 He was the son of Arthur Walker and Louisa Janet Dundas Palmes.2 He married, firstly, Mildred Katherine Grace Heaton-Ellis, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Henry Brabazon Heaton-Ellis and Marion Pringle McCarthy, on 14 April 1921.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Hyacinthe Eames, daughter of Major Cecil William Bunbury Eames, on 6 January 1953.1 He died on 9 November 1970 at age 83.1
     He fought in the First World War, in German East Africa.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1914 in the King's African Rifles.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Kenya].1 He fought in the Second World War, in Ethiopia and Madagascar.1 He lived at Wyddiall, Ol-Joro-Orok, KenyaG.3
