     Dorothy Heveningham was the daughter of Christopher Heveningham.2 She married, firstly, Henry Vernon, son of Sir Henry Vernon and Margaret Swinnerton, in 1590.1,3 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Townshend, son of Sir Robert Townshend, in 1593 at Cound, Shropshire, England.3 She died in 1635.3
     From 1590, her married name became Vernon. From 1593, her married name became Townshend.3
