     Reverend Richard Yerburgh was baptised on 5 May 1817.1 He was the son of Reverend Richard Yerburgh and Elizabeth Norton.1 He married, firstly, Susan Higgin, daughter of John Higgin, in 1846.1 He married, secondly, Anne Kirk, daughter of Charles Kirk, in 1863.2 He died on 30 August 1886 at age 69.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was the Vicar at Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was the Rector at High Bickington, Devon, England.1

     He was in the Exchequer and Audit Department between 1869 and 1908.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1
