     Dows Dunham was the son of Carroll Dunham.1 He married, firstly, Eveline Spencer Thompson, daughter of Major William Whitaker Thompson and Isabella Blanche Spencer Lewin, on 22 May 1920.1 He married, secondly, Marion Jessie Thompson, daughter of Major William Whitaker Thompson and Isabella Blanche Spencer Lewin, on 25 January 1930.1 He died in 1984.1
     He was Curator of the Egyptian Department at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.1

     Eveline Spencer Thompson was the daughter of Major William Whitaker Thompson and Isabella Blanche Spencer Lewin.2 She married, firstly, Lieutenant Geoffrey Harrington Sainsbury on 15 December 1914.1 She married, secondly, Dows Dunham, son of Carroll Dunham, on 22 May 1920.1 She died on 12 September 1928.1
     From 15 December 1914, her married name became Sainsbury.1 From 22 May 1920, her married name became Dunham.
