     Gilbert William Sutton was born on 15 May 1858.¹ He was the son of Reverend Augustus Sutton and Charlotte Robina Carter.² He was baptised on 27 June 1858 at West Tofts, Norfolk, England.³ He married Mabel Affleck Peacock, daughter of Reverend John Peacock, on 14 October 1890.¹ He died on 23 November 1929 at age 71.¹

     Mabel Affleck Peacock was the daughter of Reverend John Peacock.² She married Gilbert William Sutton, son of Reverend Augustus Sutton and Charlotte Robina Carter, on 14 October 1890.¹ She died on 13 November 1930.¹
     From 14 October 1890, her married name became Sutton.

     Commander John Gilbert Sutton was born on 13 January 1892.¹ He was the son of Gilbert William Sutton and Mabel Affleck Peacock.² He married, firstly, Eva Maud Cook, daughter of Thomas Cook, on 12 September 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Ida Margaret Halls, daughter of Charles Halls, on 7 August 1920.¹ He and Ida Margaret Halls were divorced in 1940.¹ He married, thirdly, Katherine Balfour-Kinnear, daughter of George Balfour-Kinnear, on 16 November 1940.¹ He and Katherine Balfour-Kinnear were divorced in 1950.¹ He married, fourthly, Violet Godwin, daughter of Herbert James Godwin, on 2 December 1950.¹ He died in 1982.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹ He retired from the military in 1933, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944.¹

     Eva Maud Cook was the daughter of Thomas Cook.¹ She married Commander John Gilbert Sutton, son of Gilbert William Sutton and Mabel Affleck Peacock, on 12 September 1918.¹ She died on 2 July 1919.¹
     From 12 September 1918, her married name became Sutton.

     Roger Sutton was born on 17 June 1919.¹ He was the son of Commander John Gilbert Sutton and Eva Maud Cook.² He died in 1942, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Reverend Andrew Burgh married Margaret Robertson, daughter of William Robertson and Margaret Mitchell, on 30 August 1703.¹
     He was the Minister at Madderty, Perthshire, Scotland.¹

     Ida Margaret Halls is the daughter of Charles Halls.² She married Commander John Gilbert Sutton, son of Gilbert William Sutton and Mabel Affleck Peacock, on 7 August 1920.¹ She and Commander John Gilbert Sutton were divorced in 1940.¹
     From 7 August 1920, her married name became Sutton.

     Lt.-Cdr. Richard John Beverley Sutton was born on 26 April 1922.¹ He is the son of Commander John Gilbert Sutton and Ida Margaret Halls.² He married Ann Stella Woodhouse, daughter of Brigadier Charles Hall Woodhouse and Stella Margaret Fairlie, on 29 December 1949.¹
     He was educated at Imperial Service College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 2003 at Foxfield, Ansty, Dorset, England.¹
