     Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. was born in March 1729.1 He was the son of Sir William Strickland, 4th Bt. and Catherine Sambrooke.3 He married Elizabeth Letitia Winn, daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw, on 25 November 1751.1 He died on 13 January 1808 at age 78.3
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [E., 1641] on 1 September 1735.1

She was the daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw.3 She was baptised on 18 May 1733 at St. Anne's, Soho, Westminster, London, England.4 She married Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Strickland, 4th Bt. and Catherine Sambrooke, on 25 November 1751.1 She died in 1813.1
     From 25 November 1751, her married name became Strickland.
