     John Strang of Balcaskie was the son of Sir George Strang of Balcaskie and Janet Spens.2 He died on 10 September 1547, killed in action.1
     He lived at Balcaskie, Fife, ScotlandG.2 He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 10 September 1547.1
