     Adam Crichton was the son of James Crichton of Ruthven and Agnes Hepburn.¹ He married Elizabeth Stirling, daughter of Sir William Stirling, 2nd of Keir and Mariotta Fleming.¹ He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden Field on 9 September 1513.¹

     Sir John de Striveling, 6th of Cadder was the son of Sir Alexander de Striveling, 5th of Cadder.² He died in 1333, killed in action.²
