     Francis John Stirling of Cadder was born on 26 April 1960.1 He is the son of Sir Charles Norman Stirling and Ann Moore.2 He married Susan Margaret McKellar, daughter of Iain McKellar, on 10 September 1999.1
     He held the position of Chief of the Name and Arms of Stirling from.1 Representer of the Stirlings of Cadder.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Bristol University, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hons).1 He was a theatre director, actor, and BBC Radio producer.1 He lived in 2003 at 10 Lancaster Mews, London, England.1

     Thoraldus de Striveling, 1st of Cadder lived at Cadder, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 He was living between 1125 and 1153.1 He held the office of Vicecomes de Striveling in 1147, so named in a charter of King David I.1

     Alexander de Striveling, 3rd of Cadder and of Achiltree was the son of Willielmus de Striveling, 2nd of Cadder.2 He died in 1244, without male issue.3
