     Lorina Augusta Savile was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Walter Savile and Sarah Emma Stoddart.¹ She married Major Charles Cornelius Savile, son of Henry Bourchier Osborne Savile and Mary O'Callaghan, in 1895.¹ She died in 1931.¹

     Daniel Turner Holmes held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Govan.¹

     Margaret Eadie Holmes was the daughter of Daniel Turner Holmes.² She married William Wedgwood Benn, 1st Viscount Stansgate, son of Sir John Williams Benn, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Pickston, on 17 November 1920.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     From 17 November 1920, her married name became Benn. After her marriage, Margaret Eadie Holmes was styled as Viscountess Stansgate on 12 June 1942.

     Hon. Michael Julius Wedgwood Benn was born on 5 September 1921.¹ He was the son of William Wedgwood Benn, 1st Viscount Stansgate and Margaret Eadie Holmes.² He died on 23 June 1944 at age 22, from injuries received on operations.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹

     He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1951 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Stansgate Cottage, Southminster, Essex, England.¹
