     Gladys Wood was the daughter of John Francis Wood.2 She married Nevil Digby Bosworth Smith, son of Reginald Bosworth Smith and Flora Wickham, on 15 July 1913.1 She died on 29 March 1965.1
     From 15 July 1913, her married name became Smith.

     Michael Digby Bosworth Smith was born on 14 November 1920.1 He was the son of Nevil Digby Bosworth Smith and Gladys Wood.2 He died on 10 March 1945 at age 24 at Burma, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     He was given the name of Richard Nevil Bosworth Smith at birth.1 He was educated at Harrow School, London, England.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1952 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 In 1969 his name was legally changed to Richard Nevil Bosworth-Smith by deed poll.1 He lived in 2003 at 7 Hillside Road, Northwood, London, England.1
