     Sir John Frederick Sleight, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 April 1909.1 He is the son of Sir Ernest Sleight, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Carter.2 He married Jacqueline Margaret Carter, daughter of Major H. R. Carter, in 1942.1 He died in 1990.1
     He was educated at Brighton College, Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Sleight, of Weelsby Hall, co. Lincoln [U.K., 1920] on 16 July 1946.1

     From 22 October 1924, her married name became Addison. From 17 September 1957, her married name became Culham.1

     John Douglas Slim, 2nd Viscount Slim was born on 20 July 1927.1 He was the son of William Joseph Slim, 1st Viscount Slim and Aileen Robertson.2 He married Elisabeth Joan Spinney, daughter of Arthur Rawdon Spinney and Cecil Joan Glegg, on 18 July 1958.1 He died on 12 January 2019 at age 91 at Chelsea, London, England.3
     He was educated at Prince of Wales Royal Indian Military College, Dehra Dun, Bengal, India.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.1 He was GSO(2) of HQ Middle East between 1966 and 1967.1 He gained the rank of Commander between 1967 and 1970 in the 22 SAS Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Slim, of Yarralumla in the Capital Territory of Australia and of Bishopston in the City and County of Bristol [U.K., 1960] on 14 December 1970.1 He was GSO(1) of UKLF in 1972.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1973.1 He was chairman and chief executive of Peek plc (formerly Peek Holdings) between 1976 and 1991.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.) in 1983.1 He was director of Trailfinders Ltd in 1984.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Greater London in 1988.1
