     Sara Carolyn Gordon-Lennox was born on 12 May 1933.1 She is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Lord Esmé Charles Gordon-Lennox and Rosamond Lorys Palmer.1 She married, firstly, Sir William Andrew Malcolm Martin Oliphant Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill, 11th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Andrew Alexander Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill, 10th Bt. and Nancy Macaulay Foggo, on 7 December 1956.1 She married, secondly, Sir Ewen Alastair John Fergusson, son of Sir Ewen Macgregor Field Fergusson and Winifred Evelyn Bagnall, on 19 December 1959.1
     From 7 December 1956, her married name became Montgomery-Cuninghame. From 19 December 1959, her married name became Fergusson.

     Sir William Andrew Malcolm Martin Oliphant Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill, 11th Bt. was born on 14 July 1929.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Andrew Alexander Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill, 10th Bt. and Nancy Macaulay Foggo.1,2 He married, firstly, Sara Carolyn Gordon-Lennox, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Lord Esmé Charles Gordon-Lennox and Rosamond Lorys Palmer, on 7 December 1956.2 He died on 18 February 1959 at age 29, without issue.1
     Sir William Andrew Malcolm Martin Oliphant Montgomery-Cuninghame of Corsehill, 11th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Andrew.1 He was educated at Fettes School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Cuninghame, of Corsehill, co. Ayr [N.S., 1672] on 5 January 1945.1 He was educated at Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was President of the Oxford Union in 1953.1 He was with the Diplomatic Service.1

     Sir Ewen Alastair John Fergusson was born on 28 October 1932.2 He was the son of Sir Ewen Macgregor Field Fergusson and Winifred Evelyn Bagnall.3 He married Sara Carolyn Gordon-Lennox, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Lord Esmé Charles Gordon-Lennox and Rosamond Lorys Palmer, on 19 December 1959.1 He died on 20 April 2017 at age 84 at Vaison La Romaine, France.4
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)2 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)2

Dr. Thomas John Barnardo1

     Dr. Thomas John Barnardo was born on 4 July 1845 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He was the son of John Michaelis Barnardo and Abigail Drinkwater.2,3 He married Syrie Louise Elmslie, daughter of William Elmslie, on 17 June 1873. He died on 19 September 1905 at age 60 at Surbiton, Surrey, EnglandG, from heart failure.2
     In December 1870 he opened a boy's home, which eventually became Dr. Barnado's Homes.2 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (L.R.C.S.E.) on 31 March 1876.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.) on 16 April 1879.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
