     Alexander Seton is the son of Sir Alexander Seton of Pitmedden, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lauder.2
     He was physician to the forces under the Duke of Marlborough.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

     Elizabeth Seton is the daughter of Sir Alexander Seton of Pitmedden, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lauder.2 She married Sir Alexander Wedderburn of Blackness, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Wedderburn of Blackness, 1st Bt. and Rachel Dunsmuir, on 1 June 1693.2
     From 1 June 1693, her married name became Wedderburn.

     Sir Alexander Seton of Pitmedden, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 January 1703.1 He was the son of Sir William Seton of Pitmedden, 2nd Bt. and Katherine Burnett.2 He died on 21 July 1750 at age 47, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Guards.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Seton, of Pitmedden, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1684] in 1744.1
