     He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹

     Reverend Robert James Cameron lived at Burntisland, Fife, Scotland.¹

     Elizabeth Gordon Cameron was the daughter of Reverend Robert James Cameron.² She married William Edwin Rumbold, son of Sir Horace Rumbold, 8th Bt. and Caroline Barney Harrington, on 21 February 1903.¹ She died on 21 February 1948.¹

     Sara Josephine Rumbold was born on 7 January 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Horace Algernon Fraser Rumbold and Margaret Adel Hughes.² She married Sir Robert Michael Owen, son of Gwynne Llewellyn Owen, on 9 August 1969.¹
     From 9 August 1969, her married name became Owen. She lived in 2003 at Shortwoods, West Clandon, Surrey, England.¹
