     George Hotham was born on 4 April 1856.¹ He was the son of John Hotham and Mary Anne Roundell.¹ He married Louisa Neumeister on 5 May 1896.¹ He died on 15 November 1948 at age 92.¹

     Alice Elizabeth Dowdall was the daughter of Thomas Dowdall.² She married Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Royden and Nancy Dean, on 4 July 1865.¹ She died on 20 March 1932.¹
     She lived Liverpool.¹ Her married name became Royden.

     Sir Thomas Royden Royden was the son of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall.² He married Quenelda Mary (?) on 20 April 1922.¹ He died on 6 November 1950, without issue , when the Barony expired.¹
     He was High Sheriff , Member of Parliament (M.P.) Hampshire.¹ And 1st and last BARON ROYDEN.¹ He was also known as 2nd Baronet [U.K. Life Peer].¹ He was County Palatine of Chester (UK).¹ He lived Frankby.¹ He graduated on 22 May 1871 with a, educ Winchester (Fell 1940) and Magdalen College Oxford Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1919.¹ On 28 January 1944 so created.¹

     Quenelda Mary (?) married Sir Thomas Royden Royden, son of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall, on 20 April 1922.¹ She died on 17 February 1969, aged 95.¹
      Widow of Charles James Williamson (see FORRES.¹ Her married name became Royden.

     Alice Nancy Royden was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall.² She married Percy Lens Rooper on 27 June 1889.¹ She died on 7 January 1952. He d 15 April 1930.¹
      Her married name became Rooper.

     Percy Lens Rooper married Alice Nancy Royden, daughter of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall, on 27 June 1889.¹

     Ethel Martha Royden was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall.² She died on 30 August 1955, unmarried.¹
     She was Dep Assist Dir in the Women's Royal Naval Service WW I.¹ She was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Mary Catherine Royden was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bland Royden, 1st Bt. and Alice Elizabeth Dowdall.² She died on 31 January 1966, aged 95 unmarried.¹
     She was First Commissioner of Cheshire Girl Guides.¹
