     Louisa Flora Steel Dick was the daughter of General Alexander Dick.2 She married Colonel Robert Vansittart Riddell, son of Robert Riddell and Elizabeth Vansittart, on 27 April 1870.1 She died on 16 April 1924.1
     From 27 April 1870, her married name became Riddell.

     Colonel Robert Buchanan Riddell was born on 1 April 1872.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Vansittart Riddell and Louisa Flora Steel Dick.2 He died on 3 October 1923 at age 51.1
     He fought in the Boer War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1

Edward Vansittart Dick Riddell1

     Edward Vansittart Dick Riddell was born on 30 March 1873.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Vansittart Riddell and Louisa Flora Steel Dick.2 He married, firstly, Edith Mary Turner, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Edmund Penrose Bingham Turner and Helen Gzowski, on 10 February 1902.1 He married, secondly, Vyvyan Lewis, daughter of Reverend J. J. Lewis, on 10 January 1938.1 He and Vyvyan Lewis were divorced in 1942.1 He died on 8 September 1942 at age 69.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches five times.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1

Edmund Penrose Bingham Turner and Helen Gzowski.3,4 She married Edward Vansittart Dick Riddell, son of Colonel Robert Vansittart Riddell and Louisa Flora Steel Dick, on 10 February 1902.1 She died on 4 July 1914.1
     From 10 February 1902, her married name became Riddell.

     Major Edward Alexander Buchanan Riddell was born on 8 February 1903.1 He was the son of Edward Vansittart Dick Riddell and Edith Mary Turner.2 He married, firstly, Mary Cameron, daughter of Stuart Cameron, on 1 March 1928.1 He married, secondly, Irene Julia Bullmore, daughter of A. W. E. Bullmore, on 28 July 1939.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Kennington, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Kennington, on 15 February 1962.1 He died in 1986.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1
