Charles de Blaquiere was born on 7 November 1819.1 He was the son of Hon. Peter Boyle de Blaquiere and Eliza Roper.1,2 He married, firstly, Agnes (?) on 1 September 1848.2 He married, secondly, Caroline Dora Bettridge, daughter of Reverend William Bettridge, on 18 April 1865.2 He died on 16 July 1869 at age 49 at Woodstock, Ontario, CanadaG.1
