     Arthur Charles Douglas-Nugent was born on 12 April 1894.1 He was the son of Major Arthur Nugent and Elizabeth Douglas.1 He married Margaret Grizel Rainey-Robinson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Maximilian Rainey-Robinson, on 4 July 1928.1 He died on 18 September 1963 at age 69.1
     He was given the name of Arthur Charles Nugent at birth.1 On 24 August 1948 his name was legally changed to Arthur Charles Douglas-Nugent by Deed poll.1 He lived at Bellevue, Killowen, County Down, Ireland.1
