     Colonel Crofton Moore Vandeleur was born on 9 December 1808. He was the son of Rt. Hon. John Ormsby Vandeleur and Lady Frances Moore. He married Lady Grace Graham-Toler, daughter of Hector John Graham-Toler, 2nd Earl of Norbury and Elizabeth Brabazon, on 23 April 1832. He died on 9 November 1881 at age 72.
     Colonel Crofton Moore Vandeleur lived at Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland.
