     Victoria Louisa Palmer was born on 28 May 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer and Ida Brae Wilson.² She married John James Dickie, son of Alexander Perry Dickie, on 6 June 1923.¹ She died on 1 January 1991 at age 93.¹
      From 6 June 1923, her married name became Dickie.¹

     John James Dickie was the son of Alexander Perry Dickie.² He married Victoria Louisa Palmer, daughter of Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer and Ida Brae Wilson, on 6 June 1923.¹ He died on 2 August 1953.¹

     Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer was born on 22 October 1870.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Mark Palmer, 1st Bt. and Augusta Mary Lambert.² He married, firstly, Ida Brae Wilson, daughter of Wilberforce Wilson, on 6 February 1893.¹ He married, secondly, Blanche Balmford, daughter of Walter Balmford, on 10 May 1906.¹ He died on 7 September 1914 at age 43.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Queen's South Africa Medal (with four clasps).¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Third Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He was decorated with the award of the Freeman of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1902.¹ He was Captain of the Royal North-West Mounted Police at Canada.¹

     Walter Balmford lived at York, Yorkshire, England.¹

     Blanche Balmford was the daughter of Walter Balmford.² She married Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer, son of Sir Charles Mark Palmer, 1st Bt. and Augusta Mary Lambert, on 10 May 1906.¹ She died on 21 August 1965.¹
      From 10 May 1906, her married name became Palmer.¹

     Charles Lionel Palmer was born on 7 February 1909.¹ He was the son of Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer and Blanche Balmford.² He married Karoline Gach, daughter of Major Karl Gach, on 29 July 1937.¹ He died in 1987.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was educated at Trent College, Long Eaton, Derbyshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps.¹

     Major Karl Gach lived at Vienna, Wien, Austria.¹

     Karoline Gach was the daughter of Major Karl Gach.² She married Charles Lionel Palmer, son of Captain Lionel Hugo Palmer and Blanche Balmford, on 29 July 1937.¹ She died on 3 January 1995.¹
     She was registered as a Licentiate, Royal Academy of Music (Epsom Light Opera Company).¹ From 29 July 1937, her married name became Palmer.¹

     Diana Lillian Palmer was born on 3 November 1939.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Lionel Palmer and Karoline Gach.²
