     Eleanor Barrett was the daughter of Henry Barrett.2 She married George William Palmer, son of George Palmer and Elizabeth Sarah Meteyard, on 6 February 1879.1 She died on 9 February 1929.1
     From 6 February 1879, her married name became Palmer.1

     Alfred Palmer was born on 25 August 1852.1 He was the son of George Palmer and Elizabeth Sarah Meteyard.2 He married Alice Marie Exhall, daughter of William Exhall, on 4 July 1877.1 He died on 20 May 1936 at age 83.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)1 He was President of the Council of the University of Reading at Reading, Berkshire, England.1 He was director of Huntley & Palmers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1905.1 He lived at Wokefield Park, Mortimer, Berkshire, England.1

Rodney Howell Palmer was born on 24 November 1907.1 He was the son of Eustace Exall Palmer and Madeline Mary Howell.2 He married, firstly, Frances Pauline Gordon-Duff, daughter of Captain Lachlan Gordon-Duff and Lydia Dorothy Muriel Pike, on 19 September 1934.1 He and Frances Pauline Gordon-Duff were divorced in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Nancy Isobel Hurt, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Cecil Albert Hurt, on 14 June 1949.1 He died on 24 April 1987 at age 79 at Newbury, Berkshire, England.1,3
