Elizabeth Finlay was born circa 1778.1 She was the daughter of William Henry Finlay and Mary Ann Stear.1 She married Hans Blackwood, 3rd Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, son of Sir John Blackwood, 2nd Bt. and Dorcas Stevenson, Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye, on 8 July 1801.1 She died in July 1843.1
Her married name became Blackwood. As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Finlay was styled as Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye on 8 August 1836.

Kathleen Mary Bateson, daughter of Thomas Bateson, 1st Baron Deramore of Belvoir and Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Anne Rice-Trevor, on 29 May 1877.1 He died on 26 August 1901 at age 59.1
