     Arthur Herbert Wood was born on 26 April 1877.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal Sir Henry Evelyn Wood, V.C. and Hon. Mary Paulina Anne Southwell.² He married, firstly, Ethel Mary Duncan, daughter of Andrew Duncan, on 7 November 1900.¹ He married, secondly, Andrina Hunter Fernie, daughter of John Fernie, on 6 August 1923.¹ He died on 6 September 1940 at age 63.¹
     He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles.)¹ He fought in the Tirah Expedition.¹ He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1898 and 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Andrew Duncan was a barrister.¹

     Ethel Mary Duncan was the daughter of Andrew Duncan.² She married Arthur Herbert Wood, son of Field Marshal Sir Henry Evelyn Wood, V.C. and Hon. Mary Paulina Anne Southwell, on 7 November 1900.¹ She died in February 1922.¹

     Maeve Audry Wolfe is the daughter of Arthur Theobald Wolfe.¹ She married Emile Jacot before 4 April 1932.¹ She married, secondly, Evelyn Philip Wood, son of Arthur Herbert Wood and Ethel Mary Duncan, on 4 April 1932.¹ She and Evelyn Philip Wood were divorced in 1943.¹
     From before 4 April 1932, her married name became Jacot.¹ From 4 April 1932, her married name became Wood.¹

     Diarmuid Evelyn Wood was born on 9 September 1933.¹ He is the son of Evelyn Philip Wood and Maeve Audry Wolfe.² He married, firstly, Beverly Pearce, daughter of William Richard Pearce, on 8 October 1960.¹ He married, secondly, Linda Rosemary Petty, daughter of Leonard Pierpoint Petty, in 1977.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Morayshire, Scotland.¹ He lived at Leachin House, Tarbert, Isle of Harris, Scotland.¹

     William Richard Pearce lived at Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.¹

     Beverly Pearce was the daughter of William Richard Pearce.² She married Diarmuid Evelyn Wood, son of Evelyn Philip Wood and Maeve Audry Wolfe, on 8 October 1960.¹ She died in 1976.¹
