     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] in 1790.1

Mary Louisa Eden.2 He married Frances Elinor Grant, daughter of Sir John Peter Grant, 11th of Rothiemurchus and Henrietta Isabella Phillipa Chichele Plowden, on 13 April 1857.1 He died on 6 December 1880 at age 70 at London, England.1
