     William James was the son of Sir Thomas Head and Jane Holt.2 He died, unmarried.1
     He was given the name of William Head at birth.2 In 1772 his name was legally changed to William James on inheriting the estates of his uncle, John James of Denford Court.2

     Susannah Pole was born on 5 April 1779.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Pole, 1st Bt. and Millicent Pole.1 She married Isaac Minet, son of Hughes Minet and Mary Loubier, on 17 August 1802.1 She died on 15 March 1869 at age 89.1
