     Manners Percy Nightingale was born on 28 January 1908.¹ He was the son of Lacy Gamaliel Nightingale and Katie Wagner.² He married Mary Ursula Gilbert, daughter of Reverend George Sanders Gilbert, on 12 December 1936.¹ He died on 30 September 1974 at age 66.¹
     He was educated at St. John's College, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹ He graduated from St. Thomas's Hospital Medical School, London, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) in 1937.¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1937.¹

     Reverend George Sanders Gilbert was Vicar at Groombridge, Sussex, England.¹

     Mary Ursula Gilbert was the daughter of Reverend George Sanders Gilbert.² She married Manners Percy Nightingale, son of Lacy Gamaliel Nightingale and Katie Wagner, on 12 December 1936.¹ She died in 1983.¹
     From 12 December 1936, her married name became Nightingale.

     Edward Lacy George Nightingale was born on 11 May 1938.¹ He is the son of Manners Percy Nightingale and Mary Ursula Gilbert.²
     He was educated at Exeter School, Exeter, Devon, England^G.¹ He was Member of Devon County Council between 1981 and 1985.¹ He held the office of Member of North Devon County Council in 1987.¹ He was a Master Mariner.¹ He lived in 2003 at Kneesworth, Hollerday Drive, Lynton, Devon, England.¹

     Jane Elizabeth Nightingale was born on 20 February 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Manners Percy Nightingale and Mary Ursula Gilbert.²

     Neville Gascoyne Nightingale was born on 20 May 1911.¹ He was the son of Lacy Gamaliel Nightingale and Katie Wagner.² He married Nancy Esther Whistler, daughter of Godfrey James Whistler, on 21 August 1946.¹ He died on 29 September 1989 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Diocesan College, Rondebosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1936 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Middlesex Regiment.¹

     Godfrey James Whistler lived at Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Nancy Esther Whistler is the daughter of Godfrey James Whistler.² She married Neville Gascoyne Nightingale, son of Lacy Gamaliel Nightingale and Katie Wagner, on 21 August 1946.¹
     From 21 August 1946, her married name became Nightingale. She lived in 2003 at 6 Long Lane, Southrepps, Norfolk, England.¹

     Thomas Lacy Manners Nightingale was born on 23 May 1947.¹ He is the son of Neville Gascoyne Nightingale and Nancy Esther Whistler.² He married Lois Allison Glass, daughter of Reverend Thomas Oswald Welch Glass, in 1993.¹
     Thomas Lacy Manners Nightingale also went by the nick-name of Tommy. He was educated at Sandon House School, Chelmsford, Essex, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Wellspring Farmhouse, Southrepps, Norfolk, England.¹
