     Mary Madeleine Doyle was the daughter of Richard Doyle.2 She married Sir Geoffrey Slingsby Nightingale, 15th Bt., son of Thomas Slingsby Nightingale and Doris Elizabeth Collison, on 18 January 1936.1 She died on 27 December 1970.1
     From 18 January 1936, her married name became Nightingale.

     Major Roger Chester Nightingale was born on 8 January 1909.1 He was the son of Thomas Slingsby Nightingale and Doris Elizabeth Collison.2 He died on 1 September 1944 at age 35 at France, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Blundell's School, Tiverton, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Devonshire Regiment and HAC.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1

     Sir Charles Athelstan Nightingale, 16th Bt. was born on 23 July 1902.2 He is the son of Percy Athelstan Nightingale and Muriel Stoughton Collison.2 He married Evelyn Nadine Frances Diggens, daughter of Charles Arthur Diggens, in 1932.2 He died on 7 March 1977 at age 74.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He succeeded as the 16th Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628] on 3 September 1972.2
