     Elizabeth Jane Watson was the daughter of Joseph Watson.² She married Sir Alfred James Newton 1st Bt., son of George Beeforth Newton and Helen Rowe, on 24 June 1874.¹ She died on 27 October 1945.¹

     Sir Harry Knottingham Newton 2nd Bt. was born on 2 April 1875.¹ He is the son of Sir Alfred James Newton 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Watson.² He married Myrtle Irene Grantham, daughter of William Wilson Grantham, on 5 June 1920.¹ He died on 22 June 1951 at age 76.¹
     He was barrister Lincoln's , Lieutenant City London, vice-chairman Harrods, Member of Parliament (M.P.) Harwich 1910–22, Honour Sec City Imp Vols serving Boer War 1900, Major Royal Army Service Corps 1914, Officer cmdg Chatham Adminve Dist, Dep Assist Di Inn 1899.¹ He was also known as 2nd Baronet Newton [U.K. Life Peer].¹ He graduated in 1898 with a Rugby and New College Oxford Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1901).¹ He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Muriel Prudhoe Newton is the daughter of Sir Alfred James Newton 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Watson.² She married George Parons, son of Thomas Parons, on 21 October 1902.¹
      Her married name became Parons.

     Myrtle Irene Grantham was the daughter of William Wilson Grantham.² She married Sir Harry Knottingham Newton 2nd Bt., son of Sir Alfred James Newton 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Jane Watson, on 5 June 1920.¹ She died on 18 September 1977.¹
      Nr Lewes.¹ Elder.¹ She lived Balneath Manor.¹ Her married name became Newton. She was King's Counsel (K.C.).¹

     (Alfred) Jeremy Grantham Newton was born on 20 July 1921.¹ He is the son of Sir Harry Knottingham Newton 2nd Bt. and Myrtle Irene Grantham.²
     He was Lieutenant Royal Artillery WW II.¹ On 8 February 1944 killed in action Italy.¹

     Christopher Wynne Newton was born on 23 July 1925.¹ He is the son of Sir Harry Knottingham Newton 2nd Bt. and Myrtle Irene Grantham.² He married Margaret Ormerod, daughter of John Ormerod, on 22 July 1950.¹
      Rev.¹ He graduated in 1946 with a Eastbourne College and Trin Hall Cambridge Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) , Master of Arts (M.A.) 1948).¹ He was Urban Dean Milton Keynes, Vicar Hemel Hempstead, Ecumenical Offr, Oxford Diocese , Priest-in-charge St Peter and St Paul Little Gaddesden Hertfordshire 1983–85 (ret) in 1979.¹ He lived in 2003 at 24 Slade Court, Watling St, Radlett, Herts WD7 7BT.¹
