     Donald Seymour Erskine was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1945.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.2 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.) in 1956.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1969.1 He lived in 2003 at Cleish House, Cleish, Kinross-shire, Scotland.1
