     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier du Mérité d'Agricole.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Colonel and Chief Engineer between 1936 and 1937 in the British Forces Palestine.¹ He was AA and QMG 4th Division between 1937 and 1939.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1941.¹ He was DAG GHQ Middle East between 1941 and 1942.¹ He was Chief of British Military Mission to Egyptian Army between 1942 and 1945.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1944.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Thomas William Vigers lived at Guernsey, Channel Islands.¹

     Margaret Vigers was the daughter of Thomas William Vigers.² She married Maj.-Gen. Noel Warren Napier-Clavering, son of Francis Napier-Clavering and Elizabeth Cowan, on 14 July 1921.¹ She died in 1983.¹
     From 14 July 1921, her married name became Napier-Clavering.

     James Francis Warren Napier-Clavering was born on 25 February 1931.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Noel Warren Napier-Clavering and Margaret Vigers.² He died on 18 July 1931.¹

     Diana Margaret Napier-Clavering was born on 24 January 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Noel Warren Napier-Clavering and Margaret Vigers.² She married Lieutenant John Evelyn Gray Todd, son of Lt.-Col. Alfred John Kennett Todd, on 21 October 1950.¹ She died on 24 February 2005 at age 79.³
     From 21 October 1950, her married name became Todd. She lived in 2003 at Dressors, The Street, Eversley, Hampshire, England.¹
