     Thomas Frankland was born on 16 March 1828.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick William Frankland, 8th Bt. and Katherine Margaret Scarth.¹ He died on 17 November 1857 at age 29 at Lucknow, India, killed in action, while leading a company of the 2nd Punjab Infantry to assault a tower in the Secunder Bagh.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 48th Madras Infantry.¹ He fought in the Capture of Delhi, where he was wounded twice.¹

     Harry Albert Frankland was born on 11 April 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick William Frankland, 8th Bt. and Katherine Margaret Scarth.¹ He died on 9 May 1847 at age 17, from a fever off Vera Cruz.¹
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in the Royal Navy, on board H.M.S. Alarm.¹

     Margaret Annie Phœbe Seton was the daughter of Charles Compton Seton and Phœbe Elizabeth Ripley.² She married Arthur Pelham Frankland, son of Colonel Sir William Adolphus Frankland, 9th Bt. and Lucy Ducarel Adams, on 12 October 1898.² She and Arthur Pelham Frankland were divorced in 1934.² She died on 2 February 1953.²
     From 12 October 1898, her married name became Frankland.²

     Mary Jay Dawson was the daughter of William Dawson and Sarah Jay.^1,2 She married Colonel Colville Frankland, son of Sir Frederick William Frankland, 8th Bt. and Katherine Margaret Scarth, on 22 September 1870.¹ She died on 25 January 1914.¹
     From 22 September 1870, her married name became Frankland.¹
