Sir William Henry Tucker Luce was born in 1907.2 He was the son of Admiral John Luce and Mary Dorothea Tucker.2 He married Margaret Napier, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Trevylyan Dacres Willes Napier and Mary Elizabeth Culme-Seymour, in 1934.1 He died in 1977.2
He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Aden between 1956 and 1960.2 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1957.1,2 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1961.2 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1 He lived at Brook House, Fovant, Wiltshire, England.

Lady Grace Fitzroy was born on 28 March 1697.1 She was the daughter of Charles Fitzroy, 2nd Duke of Cleveland and Anne Pulteney.1 She was baptised on 8 April 1697 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England.1 She married Henry Vane, 1st Earl of Darlington, son of Gilbert Vane, 2nd Baron Barnard of Barnard's Castle and Mary Randyll, on 2 September 1725.1 She died on 29 September 1763 at age 66.1 Her will was probated on 12 November 1763.1
Her married name became Vane. As a result of her marriage, Lady Grace Fitzroy was styled as Baroness Barnard of Barnard's Castle on 27 April 1753. As a result of her marriage, Lady Grace Fitzroy was styled as Countess of Darlington on 3 April 1754. Her last will was dated 15 June 1762.
