     Catherine Spencer was the daughter of Sir Thomas Spencer, 3rd Bt. and Jane Gerrard.1,2 She married, secondly, Rev. Hon. George Mordaunt, son of John Mordaunt, 1st Viscount Mordaunt of Avalon and Elizabeth Carey.1 She died on 26 May 1714, without issue.1
     Her married name became Mordaunt.
