     Margaret Enid Mann was born on 13 December 1924.¹ She is the daughter of Francis Thomas Mann and Enid Agnes Tilney.² She married Major Seaton Patrick Hayes Simonds, son of Major Maurice Hayes Simonds, on 7 November 1951.¹
     She was in the Women's Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 7 November 1951, her married name became Simonds. She lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Syde, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Major Seaton Patrick Hayes Simonds was the son of Major Maurice Hayes Simonds.² He married Margaret Enid Mann, daughter of Francis Thomas Mann and Enid Agnes Tilney, on 7 November 1951.¹ He died in 2007.³
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ Major Seaton Patrick Hayes Simonds usually went by his middle name of Patrick.¹
