     He was educated at Aldenham School, Elstree, Hertfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He gained the rank of Surgical Specialist in the Royal Army Medical Corps, during the First World War.1 He was Consulting Obstetric Surgeon at Guy's Hospital, London, England.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Obstreticians and Gynaecologists (F.R.C.O.G.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)1 He was vice-president of the Royal College of Obstreticians and Gynaecologists.1
