     Thecla Isabel Reid was the daughter of John Mundell Reid and Thecla Isobel Cameron Stevenson.^2,3 She married Douglas Melville Macnaghten, son of Leslie Hay Macnaghten and Hilda Ethelind Barnes, on 23 April 1946.¹ She died in 1987.¹
     From 23 April 1946, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Lorraine Thecla Ethelind Macnaghten was born on 8 June 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Douglas Melville Macnaghten and Thecla Isabel Reid.² She married Alastair Ford-Young in 1982.¹
