     Sir Richard Sutton, 2nd Bt. was born on 16 December 1799. He was the son of John Sutton and Sophia Frances Chaplin. He married Mary Elizabeth Burton, daughter of Benjamin Burton and Anne Mainwaring, on 19 December 1819.1 He died on 13 November 1855 at age 55.1
     Sir Richard Sutton, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Sutton, of Norwood Park, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1772] on 10 January 1802.2 He lived at Norwood Park, Nottinghamshire, England.1
