     Edward Burton was the son of Major Sir Charles Burton, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Catherine Cuffe.2 He married Bridget Anne Eustace, daughter of Hardy Eustace and Bridget Anne Browne.1 He married Bridget Longfield Eustace, daughter of Major Hardy Eustace and Susanna Bernard.2 He died on 24 December 1853, without issue.1 He was also reported to have died on 19 December 1853.2

     Hardy Eustace was born on 12 February 1812.2 He was the son of James Eustace and Elizabeth Eustace.2 He married Bridget Anne Browne, daughter of Major James Browne, on 17 August 1838.2 He died on 19 May 1862 at age 50.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Carlow.2 He lived at Newstown, Tullow, County Carlow, IrelandG.2

     Her married name became Burton.
