     Lt.-Cdr. Robert Adrian Roberts is the son of Major Reginald Geoffrey Roberts.2 He married Deirdre McGillycuddy, daughter of Anthony John McGillycuddy and Gwendolen Lucy Frost, on 10 January 1948.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1

     Anna Emily McGillycuddy was born on 7 June 1892.1 She was the daughter of John McGillycuddy and Emily Jane Hudson.2 She married Captain Cyril Julian Goldsmid, son of Sidney Francis Hoffnung, on 23 March 1920.1
     From 23 March 1920, her married name became Goldsmid. In 1939 see edn GOLDSMID, Bt) three sons.1

     He was a practising barrister.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th The Queen's Royal Lancers.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1
