     Henry Westropp was born in 1811.1 He was the son of Henry Sheares Westropp and Elinor Winthrop Jones.2 He died in 1888, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1831 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridgewater between 1865 and 1866.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Green Park, Bruff, County Limerick, Ireland.1

Elinor Jones Westropp1

     Elinor Jones Westropp was the daughter of Henry Sheares Westropp and Elinor Winthrop Jones.2 She married William Cary Dobbs, son of Reverend Robert Conway Dobbs and Wilhelmina Josepha Bristow, in May 1834.1 She died on 18 April 1890.1
     From May 1834, her married name became Dobbs.
