     Charles Erskine, 8th Earl of Kellie was born circa 1764.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Erskine of Cambo, 6th Bt. and Margaret Chiene.1,2 He died on 28 October 1799, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Fifeshire Light Dragoons.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Erskine, of Cambo, co. Fife [N.S., 1666] on 2 October 1791.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Erskine of Dirletowne [S., 1604] on 8 May 1797.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1619] on 8 May 1797.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Kellie [S., 1619] on 8 May 1797.1 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1606] on 8 May 1797.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Dirletoun [S., 1619] on 8 May 1797.1

     Methven Erskine, 10th Earl of Kellie was born circa 1750.1 He was the son of Sir David Erskine and unknown Young.1,2 He married Joanna Gordon, daughter of Adam Gordon of Ardoch, on 10 July 1781.1 He died on 3 December 1829, without issue.1
     He was a merchant at Bengal, IndiaG.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Erskine, of Cambo, co. Fife [N.S., 1666] on 6 February 1828.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Erskine of Dirletowne [S., 1604] on 6 February 1828.1 He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Kellie [S., 1619] on 6 February 1828.1 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1619] on 6 February 1828.1 He succeeded as the 10th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1606] on 6 February 1828.1 He succeeded as the 10th Lord Dirletoun [S., 1619] on 6 February 1828.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Anna Kirkpatrick is the daughter of Colonel John Kirkpatrick.1 She married Alexander Erskine, 3rd Earl of Kellie, son of Alexander Erskine, Viscount Fentoun and Lady Anne Seton, in 1661.1
     After her marriage, Anna Kirkpatrick was styled as Countess of Kellie in 1661. From 1661, her married name became Erskine.1
