     Caroline Mary Whyte was the daughter of John Joseph Whyte.2 She married Charles Edward MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin, son of Rt. Hon. Hugh Hyacinth O'Rorke MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Mary Howley, on 10 October 1894.1 She died on 10 November 1969.1
     She lived Loughbrickland House.1 Banbridge.1 2nd.1 Her married name became MacDermot. She was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 She was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 She was County Down (see BIFR ) in 1976.1

     Hugh Maurice MacDermot was born on 28 September 1896.1 He was the son of Charles Edward MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Caroline Mary Whyte.2 He died on 9 August 1915 at age 18 at Gallipoli, Turkey, killed in action.1
     He was educated at The Oratory, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Gallipoli Campaign.1

     Charles John MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin was born on 20 February 1899.1 He was the son of Charles Edward MacDermot, The MacDermot, Prince of Coolavin and Caroline Mary Whyte.2 He married Julia Mary Felicity MacDermot, daughter of Edward Terence MacDermot, on 20 November 1954.1 He died on 7 May 1979 at age 80, without issue.1
     He lived at Stoneyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was assistant manager then manager of Jebong (Perak) Rubber Estate in 1925.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1942 in the Perak Local Defense Corps.1
