     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1

     Caroline Munster Wulff was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. unknown Wulff.2 She married, firstly, Sir Richard Hardinge, 1st Bt., son of Nicholas Hardinge and Jane Pratt, on 14 March 1826.2 She married, secondly, Henry Taylor-Jones, son of John Jones and Mary Roberts, on 23 October 1828.1 She died on 4 June 1858.1
     From 14 March 1826, her married name became Hardinge.2 From 23 October 1828, her married name became Taylor-Jones.

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Harry David Jones was born on 14 March 1792.1 He was the son of John Jones and Mary Roberts.2 He married Charlotte Hornsby, daughter of Reverend Thomas Hornsby, in 1824.1 He died on 4 August 1866 at age 74.1
     He fought in the Walcheran Expedition in 1809.1 He fought in the Peninsula War.1 He fought in the War of 1812 between 1814 and 1815, in the New Orleans Campaign.1 He was Governor at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Crimean War, Commanding Engineer at the Siege of Sebastopol.1 He was Lieutenant-General and Colonel of the Royal Engineers in 1854.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1
