     Jean Sandilands was the daughter of James Sandilands of Craibston.2 She married Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 5th Bt., son of John Johnston and Margaret Alexander, on 8 January 1704.1 She died in 1744.1
     From 8 January 1704, her married name became Johnston.

Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 6th Bt.1

     Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 6th Bt. was born in November 1714.1 He was the son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 5th Bt. and Jean Sandilands.2 He married, firstly, Sarah Kirby, daughter of Thomas Kirby, in 1750.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cleland, daughter of Captain William Cleland, in March 1757.1 He married, thirdly, Amy French in 1777.2 He died on 19 March 1794 at age 79.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1741 in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Commander in 1750.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 18 March 1750.1 He purchased Hilton, near Aberdeen, with prize money.2

     Sarah Kirby was the daughter of Thomas Kirby.2 She married Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 6th Bt., son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 5th Bt. and Jean Sandilands, in 1750.1 She died in 1751, without surviving male issue.1
     From 1750, her married name became Johnston.

     Sir William Bacon Johnston of Caskieben, 8th Bt. was born on 17 March 1806.1 He was the son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt. and Maria Bacon.2 He married Mary Ann Tye, daughter of William Tye, on 11 September 1855.1 He died on 2 August 1865 at age 59.1
     He gained the rank of Officer in the 1st Royals.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 13 January 1844.1

     Mary Ann Tye was the daughter of William Tye.2 She married Sir William Bacon Johnston of Caskieben, 8th Bt., son of Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 7th Bt. and Maria Bacon, on 11 September 1855.1 She died on 11 October 1903.1
     From 11 September 1855, her married name became Johnston.

Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 9th Bt.1

     Sir William Johnston of Caskieben, 9th Bt. was born prior to his parents' marriage but legitimated under Scots Law by their subsequent marriage on 11 Sept 1855 on 31 July 1849.1 He was the son of Sir William Bacon Johnston of Caskieben, 8th Bt. and Mary Ann Tye.2 He died on 22 November 1917 at age 68, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Johnston, of Caskieben [N.S., 1626] on 2 August 1865.1 He was Secreatary of the Travancore plantation Tea Company.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Aberdeenshire.1
