     Elizabeth Irvine was the daughter of Alexander Irvine, 4th of Artamford and 16th of Drum and Isabel Thomson.¹ She died on 18 January 1779.²

     Jean Irvine is the daughter of Sir Alexander Irvine, 10th of Drum and Magdalene Scrymgeour.² She married George Crichton, 1st of Auchingoul, son of James Crichton of Frendraught and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, before 1664.¹
     From before 1664, her married name became Crichton.¹

     George Crichton, 1st of Auchingoul was the son of James Crichton of Frendraught and Lady Elizabeth Gordon.¹ He married Jean Irvine, daughter of Sir Alexander Irvine, 10th of Drum and Magdalene Scrymgeour, before 1664.¹ He died before 30 July 1702.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Frendraught [S., 1642] on 26 February 1698, de jure.² On 19 May 1698 he was served heir to his nephew, James Crichton, 2nd Viscount of Frendraught.²

     Stephen Romer Ascherson was born in 1901 at Paddington, London, England.¹ He was the son of Charles Stephen Ascherson and Kate Lemon Ritchie Romer.¹ He married Jean Furnivall, daughter of Percy Furnivall and Olive Mary Butlin, in 1922 at Kensington, London, England.¹

     Jean Furnivall was born in 1901 at Marylebone, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Percy Furnivall and Olive Mary Butlin.¹ She married Stephen Romer Ascherson, son of Charles Stephen Ascherson and Kate Lemon Ritchie Romer, in 1922 at Kensington, London, England.¹
     From 1922, her married name became Ascherson.¹

     James Irvine was the son of Alexander Irvine, 4th of Artamford and 16th of Drum and Isabel Thomson.¹ He died before 1744, unmarried, young.¹

     Lady Mary Gordon is the daughter of George Gordon, 2nd Marquess of Huntly and Lady Anne Campbell.^2,1 She married Alexander Irvine, 11th of Drum, son of Sir Alexander Irvine, 10th of Drum and Magdalene Scrymgeour, in 1643.¹
     From 1643, her married name became Irvine.

     Alexander Irvine, 12th of Drum was born circa 1646.¹ He was the son of Alexander Irvine, 11th of Drum and Lady Mary Gordon.² He married Marjory Forbes, daughter of unknown Forbes of Auchreddie.¹ He died on 3 January 1696, without surviving issue.¹
     The estates by now had dwindled considerably, some sold to pay fines for Jacobitism, the Irvine castle of Fedderet was the last place on the Scottish mainland to hold out for King James VII and II, while the 11th Laird, who had appointed his kinsman Alexander Irvine of Murthill as his executor, had further burdened the estate with onerous provisions for other members of the fmaily.¹

     Mary Irvine is the daughter of Alexander Irvine, 11th of Drum and Lady Mary Gordon.² She married Count Patrick Leslie, 15th of Balquhain in 1679.¹
     From 1679, her married name became Leslie.

     Count Patrick Leslie, 15th of Balquhain married, secondly, Mary Irvine, daughter of Alexander Irvine, 11th of Drum and Lady Mary Gordon, in 1679.¹ He died in 1710.²
